Lobsang is a small Tibetan Spaniel kennel,
situated in the heart of central Europe in
Slovenia.
My love for a dogs reach in the early childhood as I have always wanted
to have a dog of my own. As soon as the circumstances permitted, my
dreams were realized with a wonderful Tibetan breed – Tibetan Spaniel.
This breed has fascinated me on first sight and has been complementing
my life ever since.

While traveling and spending almost every weekend at shows, I had a chance to meet lot of wonderful people, breeders and fanciers of this beloved breed. What is more important is the fact that I have also made a lot of true friends! All these years of showing and gaining new experiences in the tibby world has made a wish for a new member of our gang. I have started to search for a tibby with type and lines I like most. I am apreciated for the chance of getting to know a wonderful breeder from Finland, Ms. Katriina Huhtinen. Katriina is a great friend and I would be always, endless grateful to her, for giving me her time, filled with advices and many warm words, when I need them! She introduced me to Ms.Tuula Parviainen, where I got my new addition, my first imported dog – Tuuling Chan Zidane. Zidane is a lovely male with great temperament and sense of humour – he is adorable in all sights! He started his show carrier as four months old puppy and impressed judges immediately! He got lots great critics, and on his 3rd show he was placed as 3rd Best in Show puppy! But his carrier didn`t stop, he went to be on top! Till now he has finished 5 junior championships, was best junior on Tibetan breeds special shows, bundessieger winner, as well multiple best-of-breed winner, group placer and several “J-BIS” Junior Best in Show winner. The real start began with his 11 months, on Euro Dog Show, when he won title of Europen Junior Winner 07 under breed specialist, Paul Stanton from Sweden. He has also 3 Cruft qualifications, and right now he is competeting in adult class for another champion titles. His first show season in 2007 he finished as Top Tibetan Spaniel, and as Top of the Top winner from all Tibetan breeds! He absolutely enjoy to promote and to show himself in best way he could! The Tibetan Spaniels have a lovely expression, extraordinary intelligence and wonderful character! In order to be happy they need an active lifestyle and require lively owners. Every prospect owner of a tibby should consider whether their habits match and needs! If you`re not prepared to do that – don’t search for a dog!
This breed has realy enchanted me and luckily my boyfriend Robi too J While I am the main force behind our kennel, Robi is my right hand. We are sure at this point that our lives will always feature a tibby! My tibbies lives as true family members and are not treated like dogs but as my good friends, and that is what I expect also from our new Lobsang tibby owners! The love for the tibbies has enforced my wish to breed. Looking just for the right colors and champion pedigrees is not only priority as my main goal is to breed healthy dogs of sound temperaments, good look and type!
Althrough dog shows meant to me a lot, but only from a side of
pleasure to show my beautiful dogs, which are and would be always, first
and foremost my great companions! M.Madame Butterfly and her bed time For all puppies I wish to provide good and loved home, where they would enyoj life as good as dog can, till the end of his life. There won`t be any dog sold to dealers or puppy mills and also won`t be sold to people with non outright intention!!! All (people and dogs) deserve love and warm home! I also wish to keep contact with owners of our puppies, and to be part of them in happy or sad moments, and mostly give them all needed help, no matter of circumstances! All our puppies are raised inside the house, and spent all the time with us! I give the main point to their socialization, and trying to prepare them as much as I can, to outside turbulence in the world All puppies leave home, with needed devorms, parvo distamper, EU passport and pedigree certificate of Slovene Cinology. They also get care instructions, food for first days and some other things which puppy need too feel comfortable with new family! With puppy there also comes sale agreement, which may vary per puppy and conditions would be discussed with prospective puppy owners. In this way both sides will be protected! Lobsang Chembow Momo - boy with a heart I breed under the rules of Slovene Club for Tibetan Breeds and KZS (Slovene Cinology) and remaining strictly selective in my breeding stock!
At end of 2006 I was lucky to get beautiful
parti litter,
on which I am very proud! All puppies from that litter are great show
dogs.
Lobsang Ca-Ba Mo "Luna" & Vesna after winning BISS 1 New sable litter brought a new hope! Little girl Lobsang Bhagya Namcee "Bagy" is special girl as she is a daughter of my two champion dogs, which wrotte a part of Lobsang history. Now I hope she and her litter brother Lobsang Buddha Nying-Du "Buda" would continue the Lobsang story and present a piece of their parents in the show rings :o) Bagy stareted her career with 5 months and on her first 2 shows she was r.BIS & BIS BABY... and on her first show in puppy class with six months, she again proved to be on top with winning BIS PUPPY. Realy amazing start... which she would continue.
2008 has started with new hope, as our tibby gang got a new family member. A very special particolour boy, came to us. Tashi-Gong Face of Finland , or "Fin" as we call him, is absolutely gorgeous young boy, who loves to cuddle and gives a lots of kisses. He is very self confident and is walking like a king. Fin have most beautiful particolour father .... and I admit, all long waiting was worth to get this sweethart... In the middle of april 08, I got a big suprizing gift from my friend Katriina. It was sweetest furry ball named Tashi-Gong Hollywood "Woody", who would shine in show rings just for Lobsang and Tashi-Gong team! I am sure this little outstanding furry man would catch piece of Hollywood dreams for all of us and would make us proud very soon! Many thanks to Katriina for the friendship, co-operation, trust and for allowing "Fin" and "Woody" to be a part of Lobsang`s! Me & Fin - the first meeting after arriving I can assure I wont stop here, I would show with lots of pleasure and enthusiasm my new and forthcoming tibbies to the top! So there is a chance for new stars! Hopefully I will write history with excellent, pleasant and noble dogs, what the prefix Lobsang stands for!
